Osun Babes send warning signal to Sunshine Queens

After last weekend's excellent 2-0 victory over league champions Nasarawa Amazon, head coach of Osun Babes Football Club of Oshogbo, Kehinde Johnson, is hopeful that his girls can spring out a surprise - when they meet their South-West counterparts Sunshine Queens Football Club of Akure, in the Week 4 encounter of the Nigerian Women Premier League on Saturday at the Akure Township Stadium.

According to a release by the media officer of the Omoluabi Queens, Olawole Olayinka, the tactician insisted that his side wants to repeat what Pelican Stars and Ibom Angels did to both Bayelsa Queens and Edo Queens respectively.

“It's not going to be an easy task, but we can achieve good result in Akure, we have played three games so far, with 6 points in our kitty and presently second on the log. We want to consolidate on the victory we had last weekend against Nassarawa Amazons. My girls are fully ready for the South-West derby," Johnson said.
