Taraba Queens players were all smiles on Christmas Day following the payment of 50% of their sign-on fees and three months of their salary arrears.
According to reports compiled by Futball Galore, the players were presented their monies at the club secretariat by the club's Chairman, Mustapha Tahir who promised that the welfare of the team remains paramount to the management.
With this development, the players have now received 50% of their sign-on fees, 50% of their salaries, while they have also been promised that the remaining arrears would be paid whenever funds are available.
We also scooped from Jalingo, the capital of Taraba that the girls would be paid their second round bonuses on Monday 29th December, 2014.
It was a sweet Xmas for the girls as they were all in high spirit after the Acting Governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Sani Abubakar Danladi, made the funds available to the team.
The girls have been decamped and they would be resuming for the 2014/15 Nigeria Women Premier League season by the second week of January, 2015.
