Nigerian international Ogenyi Onazi is one of the main things on tabs for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
The Super Eagles defensive midfielder is displaying himself as a rising star much fit for the English Premier League, due to his skills and features.
The Reds are desperate for more strength in the centre of the park, and Rodgers has identified 22-year-old Onazi as the man to help the Reds storm back up the Premier League table.
Onazi is a key man for the Serie A club, but Liverpool are looking to take advantage of Lazio's long-term interest in Borini by offering the former Chelsea and Roma forward plus £8million for Onazi's services.
Still tracked by Tottenham Hotspurs as well, the former Golden Eaglets midfielder is currently on a deal with the Serie A side until June 2018.
