Checks revealed that no fewer than three NPFL teams had made contacts to get the services of the experienced coach in the 2014/15 season.
His adventure at Bayelsa United was eventful as he helped them win the NPFL shield in 2007.
The coach led the Restoration Boys to the CAF Confederation Cup semi finals and also won the Charity Shield for the Yenegoa side.
After leaving the team, he led Nembe City to the NPFL just few months after the club was formed.
“This is transfer period, as players move, so also coaches. No doubt, there have been interests from some clubs but I must say it's too hasty to name them. When things work out well the media will be informed,” he said.
