Ogbuke Delighted With Amazing Debut Strike

Former Enugu Rangers winger Felix Ogbuke has expressed delight after opening his goal account for Dhofar Salalah in their penalty shootouts win over Sohar Club, reports Futball Galore.

The game which was Ogbuke's first since he joined the club, saw the skillful forward grabbing a fantastic equaliser through a free kick in the 75th minute.

At the end of regulation time, the Oman League Cup semi final match had no winner as the scoreline stood at 1-1, thus the game was decided via the dreaded penalty spot.

However, Ogbuke's team won 4-3, with the ex U23 player netting his own kick.

The 29-year-old went on to dedicate the goal to God Almighty.

“I thank God for the victory and my goal. They scored first, but at the beginning of the second half Juma Al Maashari was red carded, prompting us to be cautious.”

“We had no choice but to hit them on the counter and the free kick scored by me came at the right time.

Dhofar will clash with Fanja Club in the final of the tournament on Thursday 29th January.
