Nwofor Strikes For Lierse

Nigeria international Uche Nwofor grabbed his second goal of the season in his second start for Lierse, who shared the spoils with Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian Pro League.

The former Enugu Rangers forward scored in the 13th minute, before Renaud Emond equalized for the visitors just before the hour mark.

It is worthy to note that the former VVV Venlo man started and completed a game for the first time this season in the colours of Lierse.

Since joining the club in September, Nwofor has recorded nine appearances in the division, and opened his goalscoring account for De Pallieters against Westerlo on December 13, 2014.
