Musa Newman Keep Tongues Wagging On Trial In Egypt

Former Bolowotan Football Club striker Musa Newman is currently at Al Masry trying to earn a contract and has scored two goals in one friendly match so far.

The sharp shooting forward is currently on trial at the Egyptian Premier League club in his attempt to earn a contract abroad.

According to the official website of the club, the Sunshine Stars forward grabbed a brace in a friendly match on Friday for the team in a 6-2 victory.

The forward impressed with two goals in his first game for the club in an eight-goal thriller much to the delight of the management of the club.

The ex MFM FC forward hit the ground running when he joined the Akure Gunners from Nembe City in the mid-season transfer window of the 2013/14 Nigeria Professional Football League campaign.

Last season, he scored nine goals and this included a hat-trick against eventual champions Kano Pillars.








Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan extended his impressive goalscoring form by hitting a hat trick in Al Ain’s 4-1 win over Al Sharjah in the Presidents Cup game played on Tuesday.
The Black Stars captain has hit a rich vein of form since returning from a successful international break to help Ghana seal qualification to next year’s World Cup in Brazil.
Gyan has now scored six goals in just two matches for the Boss.
The ex Sunderland hitman was again at his ruthless best on Tuesday where he scored thrice to help Al Ain progress in the knockout competition.
The 28-year-old started the rout on the stroke of halftime to pull Al Ain even haven gone behind to a fourth minute strike by Carlos.
Michel Bastos then doubled the lead in the 61st minute before Gyan returned again to score his second eight minutes later.
The marauding Ghana striker then achieved the inevitable by grabbing his hat trick in the 90th minute to seal the comfortable win at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.
