Plateau NUJ Chairman Loses Dad



Chairman of NUJ and former SWAN Chairman Mr Yakubu Taddy in Plateau State has lost his father, Teddy Pam Mann.


The old man died on Tuesday while sleeping on his bed at his residence in Bukuru, Jos South, Plateau State.

He left behind two wives and eighteen children. He died at the age of one hundred and five years (105).

Taddy was the first police boss in Plateau State during the colonial era, he was also a member of the West African force.

Among his children is the current chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalist and Sports Writers Association of Nigeria supremo in Plateau State. He was also one time General Manager of Plateau United 

Taddy appreciated the entire management,  technical crew, fans and the players of Plateau United for paying a condolence visit to his family.

He praised the present General Manager of Plateau United Mr Bitrus Bewarang for securing partnership with some foreign clubs in Europe.

He also charged the team to remain focused and be result oriented. He wished  them all the best in the upcoming Nigeria National League season.
