Jose Mourinho is confident that Diego Costa’s suspension will not affect Chelsea too much.
The Spanish striker will miss Wednesday night’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Sunderland.
Costa has already scored 11 goals for the league-leading Blues this campaign but Mourinho is not too worried about his absence as he believes he has enough cover in his squad in the way of Loic Remy and Didier Drogba.
"We don't speak about Diego," he said. "We trust Remy and Drogba the same way we trust Diego. This is not our way of work.
"So forget Diego. We trust the other two and we go with the other two."
Chelsea are currently six points clear at the top of the standings while Spurs are seventh, 13 points in arrears of the leaders, ahead of the Stamford Bridge clash tomorrow night.
