Joseph Yobo, former captain of the Super Eagles has backed President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for a second term in office.
The ex-Everton star made this disclosure after joining a group, the PDP Ward 2 Ward Initiative, to pay a visit to Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The out of contract central defender believes GEJ should continue the good work he started.
''I am here to endorse Mr. President for his re-election. He has done so well for the youth. I stand here as a youth to say that he deserves a second term to push forward the good work he has started.''

''I do believe in the legacy of the
transformation agenda, and that is why this ward-to-ward initiative is
building on that legacy. The President has done so well. The youth now
have their own power, they have their own belief and they should take
their rights in their own hands.
“The
youth should come forward and believe in Mr. President. Everybody
should come out to vote for him, if he is your choice, but as an
individual and as a face of the youth, I recognise what he has done. The
future is for the youth. We need to stand up and look into the future,
not just now.”
