Club Owners Pay Condolences Tp Families Of Gusau And Bello


The Association of Premier League Club chairmen and Managers (Club Owners) will officially pay a condolence visit to the families of two of its members late Alh. Shehu Gusau and late Dr Ayo Bello respectively who died this year.


This was part of the decisions taken at the Executive committee meeting of the Association held in Abuja Tuesday.

According to a statement by the club Owners jointly signed by the Ag chairman of the Association Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Ag. Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka, the Club owners would visit Ilorin and Gusau next week Wednesday to sympathize with the families of the deceased members.

The statement further added that the sum of #‎1million‬ naira has been approved for the two families while the Association would ensure constant check on the welbeing of their immediate families.

The Ag. Chairman of the Association Barr. Isaac Danladi would lead the delegation to Gusau alongside the MD Of Warri Wolves Mr Davidson Owumi, chairman of Elkanemi Warriors Alh. Zanna Mala, GM of Kano Pillars Alh. Umar Mahmud and Chairman of FC Taraba Tijani Babangida.

The Delegation to Ilorin would be led by Hon. Akin Akinbobola of Sunshine stars, alongside the GM of shooting Stars Rasheed Balogun and the Ag. Secretary of the Club Owners Alloy Chukwuemeka.

It would be recalled that the late Shehu Gusau was a former chairman of Zamfara utd as well as vice chairman of the Nigeria Premier League, while the late Dr. Ayo Bello was a former chairman of kwara utd as well as vice chairman of the Club owners in Nigeria.

Meanwhile in another related development the Club Owners have sent a condolence message to one of its members and chairman of Bayelsa United, Odogu Akpofini who lost his father and also to the FCT chapter of SWAN on the death of one of its hardworking members Mr Ramsey Ogele who died after a brief illness.

Club Owners described their death as shocking, and prayed for the repose of their souls just as it prayed God to grant the families and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
