Olaitan to leave the treatment table on Tuesday

After the three-nil defeat to Panathinaikos, majority of Olympiakos players rushed to the hospital where Michael Olaitan is currently receiving treatment.

During the first half of the clash at home to the Greens on Sunday, Olaitan suddenly collapsed and landed on his neck despite not being close to an opponent.

Olympiakos personnel including manager Mitchel visited the Metropolitan Hospital to show solidarity with the injured Nigerian.

The former Flying Eagles star is scheduled to be discharged on or before Tuesday, March 4.

Initial prognosis by the doctors suggest the ex Flying Eagle is suffering from viral myocarditis, an inflammatory disorder caused by a viral infection.
