Heartland Goalie Obiazo Hopeful Of Victory

Heartland FC goalkeeper David Obiazo hopes that his side can secure the maximum points when they host Ifeanyi Uba FC in a match-day 15 Nigeria Professional Football League encounter at the Liberation Stadium on Wednesday.

The Owerri outfit has been involved in some crackers this season, which have showed both their good and bad traits.

Win over FC Taraba and a draw against Sharks FC has put the Naze Millionaires back in the top half of the table.

“The main issue with our season has been consistency. We have played well in most of our games, but played poorly in others. It has been very contrasting. We have to balance things out, we have to ensure that we have more positive results,” Obiazo told Futball Galore.

“There are 24 games to go to the end of the season and we are hoping to work better in that respect.”

Heartland face Ifeanyi Uba FC on Wednesday and the former Elkanemi Warriors goal minder is confident that they can get the full points of the game.

“I am sure we will give our very best. If it will be enough to get us three points, we will wait and see, but we are hopeful.”

A win over Ifeanyi Uba FC could see Heartland climb up to 4th place on the table.
