Remo Stars bows to Gabros

Remo Stars FC suffered their first defeat of the season in Nnewi in a week 4 Nigeria National League clash against Gabros International.

The Sky Blue Stars stood against all odds and held the Anaedo boys in the first 45 minutes and in the second half fell a goal down after Okereke Madubuchi's header from a corner kick hit the cross bar and bounced off the line.

Remo Stars tried to claw back into the game and were denied a clear penalty appeal after Victor Mbaoma was pulled down in the box in second half of the encounter.

Adewuyi was pleased despite the loss and believes his team will bounce back .

"Well we played well but we can rule out the fact that we lost and I must appreciate the effort of the boys because they played toinstructions.

"We gave a good account of ourselves, the fans were entertained and with this we can only improve and get better."
