Thirty three of the 35 players called up by Coach Manu Garba have reported to the Abuja training camp of the Nigeria U20 team.
Warri Wolves striker Oghenekaro Etebo, who was on club duty against Union Douala in Cameroon at the weekend, and Afeez Aremu, who featured for his club COD Lagos in a league game on Sunday, are the only players yet to arrive Abuja.
“The prompt response of the players to camp has been tremendous and encouraging. This shows a new spirit to succeed,” said team secretary Aliyu Ibrahim.
The squad resumed training on Monday evening at the FIFA Technical Centre in Abuja.
