Moyes hopeful on Fabregas

Manchester United manager David Moyes admits he is hopeful for ‘a little bit more’ information soon on the club’s bid for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas.

The English champions have been linked with a move for the midfielder, reported this week as having offered €30m to bring him back to the Premier League.

Despite Arsenal also having their say on the move, Moyes has now indicated that United are indeed looking at the player.

“As far as players are concerned, we're looking to bring some in and we're working hard to do that,” reflected Moyes at a Press conference in Sydney today.

“We're trying very hard to make some additions to the squad and hopefully we'll have some good news in the not too distance future.”

“Fabregas? I couldn't tell you exactly where we are with that, but I will hopefully know a little bit more in the next day.

“I might have a little bit more information about how it's going.”

Fabregas and Barcelona have both indicated to United that they are unwilling to discuss a transfer.
