Barcelona ran riot in front of new Coach Gerardo Martino as they defeated Norwegian side Valerenga 7-0 on Saturday evening.
The Argentine tactician was in the stands to watch his new side in action yesterday night, and would have been impressed with his team’s easy victory over Kjetil Rekdal’s men.
Alexis Sanchez got the scoring underway after just five minutes, with Cristian Tello and Lionel Messi both hitting the back of the net inside the 15-minute mark.
Jonathan Dos Santos got another on 42 minutes to make it 4-0, before Jean Marie Dongou bagged a brace in the second half.
Juan Angel Roman completed the scoring with five minutes remaining to complete the 7-0 rout.
