Former Glo Premier League goal banger Chikeluba Francis Ofoedu looks set to land a deal at Turkish Division One side Karşıyaka.
The striker who had stints in UNTH FC and Enugu Rangers failed to convince the management of 1461 Trabzon as regards renewal, at the expiration of his loan move at the end of the 2012/2013 season.
He netted 7 goals in 25 appearances for the Kulubu side, who missed promotion to the Turkish Premier League by whiskers.
Pundits had tipped him for an extention but the modest club decided against offering a long-term contract.
Karşıyaka and Ofoedu's management team are in a round table discussion which should be concluded before next week.
The fair-skinned attacker is valued between €0.4m-€0.5m by his principal owners Oak Zeel FC of Enugu.
