The fair skinned striker recently terminated his contract with Turkish first division side Karsiyaka.
According to media reports in Turkey, the 22-year-old has inked a contract with Samsun-based outfit Samsunspor.
Ofoedu, regarded as the Nigerian Pato, has joined the training camp of Samsunspor after inspecting the club's facility.
He also has experience of defending the colours of 1461 Trabzon, Enugu Rangers and UNTH in the past.
Samsunspor are tenth in the Turkish first division table with 20 points from 16 matches.
