Samson Kpenosen Rescues Dong Thap From Defeat

Nigeria striker Samson Kpenosen was on target in Dong Thap Cao Lanh’s 1-1 home draw against Can Tho in a Toyota Vietnam League week 2 encounter played on Saturday.

The game played at the Cao Lanh Stadium saw the visitors get the lead through Lê Văn Thắng in the 60th minute, firing home from close range.

Four minutes later, Kpenosen who formed a dangerous partnership with Gbenga Ajala made his impact felt by snatching the equaliser for the Cao Lãnh based side.

The two Nigerians lasted the entire match duration.
