Trouble looms for Heartland with another home draw

Heartland FC of Owerri continued their dismal start to the season with a 0-0 draw at home to Nasarawa United.
Coach Kelechi Emeteole's side never got going and it was clear to see how frail their confidence was the moment as they gave the ball away time after time, allowing United time and space to create goal-scoring opportunities.
In the closing stage of the first half Osas Okoro wasted Heartland's best chance to take the lead but he failed to connect with a through ball from Bright Ejike and both teams went into the half time break tied at 0-0.
The second half resumed with Jolly Osas wasting a half chance to trouble the United back-line and goalkeeper.
Despite having a lion share of the possession, Heartland FC failed to break down the visitor's defensive line and heaped more pressure on coach Kelechi Emeteole who is yet to pick a up a win this season.
Meanwhile, Coach Baba Ganaru of United will be elated by his team performance as they did just about enough to end the tie 0-0, a point well deserved for the Solid Miners.
