Contrary
to the media reports that Crown FC escaped from robbery attack on her
way to Kano - to honour the week 8 fixture against Elkanemi Warriors,
the club wishes to debunk the rumour that emanated from the pit of hell
and warn 'junkalist' to always find out the truth before publication.
The statement from the club's media team reads: “We had a safe arrival to Kano Metropolis. The little delay was orchestrated by the incessant security check on the road due to the situation in the northern part of the country.
“The club is lodged in a hotel inside 3rd Brigade Barakauf Barracks to ensure proper security of all members on board.
Meanwhile the team will do light shake-up this evening ahead of Wednesday's cracker.
Head coach of the Ajilete Boys, Lawrence Akpokona after breakfast this morning charged the boys to make the trip a fruitful one.
In his response the club's captain Segun Ayo assured that they are ready to make the best of the opportunity of the live coverage to secure a good result.
