The finalists secured their qualification after both recorded nine points to end in the top two places of the round-rubbing tournament that kicked off on April 22nd.
Interestingly both teams will be meeting the second time in the age-grade tournament though hosts Idah won the initial tie by 2-1.
Table toppers, Bassa finished in 1st position above 2nd placed Idah on two goals advantage from four matches both played in the YSFON-organised competitive tournament.
The tournament which had the five participating teams tasting four matches each, Dekina ended in third with seven points, as Igalamela took 4th with four points, while without a point Ibaji were rooted at the bottom on 5th spot.
According to the organizers, Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, YSFON, the finals will have the Governor of Kogi State, Capt Idris Wada as Special Guest of Honour and Dr Musa Major, Executive Chairman, Idah Local Government Area will be Chief Host, while His Royal Majesty, Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni will be the Royal Father of the Day among other dignitaries.
The annual tournament which was organised by Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, Kogi State chapter and solely sponsored by the Deputy Speaker of Kogi state House of Assembly, Hon. Surv. Emmanuel Omebije is the 1st Edition for Kogi-East.
