Ajibola Otegbeye was delighted after netting his first official goal in Shooting Stars SC's emphatic Oyo State FA Cup Quarter Final 3-1 victory over Mocdim FC on Thursday.
Other goals were scored by Sodiq Oladigbolu and back to fitness ace Oladele Eweje as the Oluyole Warriors consolidated at the Lekan Salami Stadium in an early kickoff match.
Otegbeye, a new signing from ABS, admitted he was relieved to finally get off the mark for the Franklin Howard managed side.
He told futbalgalore.blogspot.com: "I still think I am the same player you all know but I feel happy with the goal as it was worth celebrating. That strike gave me a lot of confidence."
"We're very pleased with the work and attitude put in place against the underdogs.''
''My focus right now is to score at least 10 goal in the Nigeria National League and make sure that 3SC makes a return back to the Premier League. Insha Allah all will be made possible,'' he concluded.
