Nasarawa United beat visiting Crown FC 1-0 in a game marred by the enforced substitution of Crown goalkeeper Michael Uweru after a collision that lead to the custodian losing consciousness.
In the 29 minute, Ibrahim Aliyu Abubakar missed a clear cut chance to put the Solid Miners ahead but he made amend from the spot before the half time whistle sending Crown Goalkeeper Michael Uweru the wrong way.
After the first half break, United went searching for a second goal to kill the contest but met a stone wall in goalkeeper Michael Uweru until he eventually suffered concussion after a collision with forward Ngomo and had to be replaced.
The game took a slow dimension after the incident and the hosts hung on to claim all three points to the delight of their fans who thronged the stadiums in their thousands, cheering every move till the final blast of the whistle.
