NNL: Kogi United resumes training on 21st October, screening to begin on the same day


Nigeria National League side, Kogi United Football Club of Lokoja has fixed Monday October 21st, 2013 as the resumption and screening date for the team in preparation for the 2013/2014 season.
The Chairman, Mallam Abdul Adama stated this while approving the club’s programme for the season and directed all players and officials to resume full club activities beginning with an intensive one-week screening on Monday 21st October, 2013.

Mallam Adama further revealed that old players would equally be screened in the camp along with the new ones and advised them to resume as scheduled.

He reminded them that time is not on the club’s side, stressing that no special consideration would be given to any player and wished them goodluck in the screening exercise.

The 2013/2014 Nigeria National League (NNL) season’s resumption for Kogi United FC, will provide the management opportunity for the needed preparation prior to the league action later in the year.

Newly appointed chief coach, Fatai Osho, who handled Remo Stars to a 3rd place finish in the Pool B of the 2012/2013 NNL season is expected to oversea the training and selection of the boys.
