Villarreal massacred Valencia 4-1 on Sunday in a LIGA BBVA encounter played at Estadio El Madrigal.
Super Eagles forward Ikechukwu Uche scored two goals and also created an assist.
The Yellow Submarines started the game far better than Valencia and were leading two-nil at half time.
In 17th minute, the Nigerian international received great ball from Mexico international, Giovani Dos Santos in the penalty area. He went past the defender and slided the ball into the net.
In second half Villareal was still fully in control of a game. In the 49th minute dos Santos missed the penalty, but in next action, Uche completed his brace.
Ikechukwu Uche made way for Aquino in the 73rd minute and received a standing ovation from supporters.
Villarreal are on 4th place on the log with 20 points after 10 games.
