Ofere's strike earns Trelleborg a draw
Ex-Enugu Rangers and Lecce striker, Edward Ofere scored a goal for Swedish outfit, Trelleborg , but it was only enough to secure a 1-1 draw against relegation-threatened Bunkeflo.
Trelleborg controlled the game from the start, but the visiting fans had to wait till the 35th minute when Ofere broke the deadlock with a volley shot.
Unfortunately for the visitors, Bunkeflo equalized just before the half-time break, in the 44th minute thanks to Jesper Claesson.
Trelleborg pushed forward in the second half, but Bunkeflo's defence kept its composure and the scoreline did not change.
Trelleborg coach Anders Grimberg was annoyed with the final result - "I think we created enough chances to win the game, but generally our passing was not good enough today".
Promotion-tipped Trelleborg are only 4th in the league table with 42 points. And with just five matches left to be played they are 11 points away from promotion spot, and 4 points from play-off spot.
Despite the not very good season, the 27-year-old Ofere can be happy with his performances this season. He scored 7 goals in 9 games since he joined Trelleborg in the middle of the season.
