CSKA Moscow's winless league streak becomes an habit

It was the clash of two bitter rivals in the Russian Premier League. Zenit St. Petersburg won 2-0 after goals from Roman Shirokov and Brazil forward Hulk over champions CSKA Moscow on Friday evening.

The Luciano Spaletti managed lads are eight points clear at the top.

Zenit number one custodian, Yuri Lodygin twice denied Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa, before Hulk doubled the home side's lead with a superb shot from 23 metres.

Second half started in the same way as the first – from Zenit attacks. They played confidently in midfield and created few chances, but couldn't convert their chances into goals.

The former Kano Pillars starlet Ahmed Musa ws on for the entire match duration.
