Tough times for Rabiu Ibrahim

Nigerian midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim collapsed on the pitch during the game between Kilmarnock and Ross County in Scottish Premier League on Saturday. Fortunately it seems like nothing serious happened to him.

Ibrahim fainted on the pitch in 34th minute and was taken to hospital, but Kilmarnock's coach Allan Johnston calmed everybody down.

''I don’t think it’s an injury – I believe he just collapsed. He’s gone to hospital and we’ll just have to wait and see what the results are. Hopefully, he’ll be OK. He was speaking fine after he went off but he wasn’t feeling right and you can’t take any chances with that. If he’s going to be out it will be a big loss for us because he’s a very good player and a great lad.” - said Johnston quoted by tablet.scotsman.com.

Kilmarnock won the game 2-0 after goals scored by Boyd and Irvine. Ibrahim's teammates dedicated this win to 22-year old Nigerian.

Rabiu Ibrahim is starting eleven player in Kilmarnock and has made 10 league appearances so far this season.

Kilmarnock are on 11th place in league consisting of 12 teams with 6 points after 10 games.
