No summit exits for Thiago and Zlatan- Blanc

Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc has dismissed claims that Zlatan Ibrahimovic could move to Real Madrid.

Following Edinson Cavani’s arrival from Napoli last week, rumours had circulated that the Sweden international could reunite with Carlo Ancelotti at Santiago Bernabeu.

But the French tactician has rubbished those stories, insisting that the former Milan man can play with the Uruguay marksman.

“He [Ibrahimovic] and Cavani can complement each other well, and they’re both in my plans for this season,” he told a Press conference.

“I’ve spoken a lot about Ibra and others. He’s an important player.”

Blanc then commented on continued speculation that Thiago Silva could join Barcelona this summer.

“Both Thiago and Ibrahimovic are important players and they will be at PSG next season,” he added.
