Ikpen: We Won't Drop Points In Makurdi

Captain of Lobi stars FC of Makurdi, Ikpen Terna has said the club still have their minds on playing Enyimba despite the People’s Elephants’ CAF champions league engagement this weekend against Egyptian side Sporting Smouha.


Ikpen told www.footballlive.ng in a chat that they were in confident mood after the impressive draw away last weekend in a league match against Bayelsa United.

“I believe they can’t defeat us, we have a good team and we know they’ve been in camp for a while. Its still early days in the season and there’s no doubt it’ll be a good game.”

Ikpen also promised that Lobi would turn their home ground to a very tough place for away teams to get results.

“We have a young team with some experienced players and I believe we’ll make our home ground very difficult for any opponent that comes around,” the Lobi Stars captain explained.
