Uche reminds Keshi of his qualities with 3 goals in Qatar

Al Rayyan have temporarily swam out of relegation on the back of their 4 -1 win over Al Ahli on Thursday evening at Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in the 21st round of matches in the Qatar Stars League.

Nigeria international Kalu Uche converted a treble of spot kicks to take his tally to four goals in three games for the Lions since his arrival from El Jaish in the January transfer window.

Al Rayyan started the game strongly and were awarded a penalty in the sixth minute which was buried by Kalu Uche.

Referee Khamis Al Marri pointed to the spot again in the 17th minute after a reckless challenge by goalkeeper Amer Al Amri.

Kalu Uche, the designated penalty - taker for Al Rayyan, made no mistake from the spot and added more misery to the  woes of Al Ahli.

Seven minutes to the end of the second half, Hamid Ismaeil gave the Lions a three goal cushion before Kaluyituka scored what turned out to be a consolation in the 85th minute.

Uche added more gloss to the scoreline with his third of the game and the fourth for Al Rayyan three minutes before the final whistle.

Another Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni , a winter arrival from Guangzhou R&F, did not feature for Manolo Jiménez's side.
