Abdullahi Shehu has vowed to put AS Vita club under intense pressure in
the second leg clash of a crucial CAF Champions League match on
Saturday.
The league champions crashed 3-1 in Kinshasa, with the Super Eagles midfielder missing the match due to visa hitch we gathered from the player.
After training on Tuesday, Shehu said: ‘We’ll be fighting until the end and we can count on Kano fans to support the team to victory on Saturday.
“We always knew they are also good, and now they have to come to play at Kano which will be difficult.
‘We won’t give them any space. We are going to put them under pressure, and then we will see how it finishes.
“The most important thing is to keep putting pressure on Vita on Saturday. We have to keep playing in the “Kano way” and hopefully we are destined to qualify Insha Allah.”
