Naija Players Xploits Abroad: The full package

Yahaya Adamu (Quang Nam, Vietnam)

Yahaya was on for 90 minutes in Quang’s 0-2 win at Long An. He provided the assist that led to one of the goals.

Uche Iheruome, Peter Omoduemuke(Quang Ninh, Vietnam) Hoang Anh Gia Lia (Akpan Bassey, Timothy Anjembe, Felix Ogbuke)

Nigerian striker Timothy got on the scoresheet in his club’s 3-2 loss at Quang Ninh. It was his 7th goal of the season in the current V-League season. Uche was also on song.

The five Nigerians all lasted the entire duration in the entertaining battle.

Sunday Emmanuel (Thanh Hoa, Vietnam) Kayode Olaleye (Ha Noi T&T, Vietnam)

Nigerian-born Vietnam player Kayode played the whole 90 minutes in a 3-1 away loss to Thanh. He scored his team's consolation goal in the 88th minute. Sunday Emmanuel scored for the hosts in the 56th minute.

Penn Orji (Mohammedan, India) Dudu Omagbemi, Chika Wali (Salgaocar, India)

Striker, Omagbemi, started the game for Salgaocar and was impressive in the one-nil win at Mohammedan. He scored the only goal of the match in the 23rd minute.

Penn Orji featured for Mohammedan, while Chika Wali was on the winning side.

Michael Uchebo (Cercle Brugge, Belgium)

Uchebo was dangerous operating from the right-wing as Cercle came back to defeat Mechelen 3-2 on Saturday night. He made way for Naudts Naudts in the 90th minute of play.

Imoh Ezekiel (Standard Liege, Belgium)

Super Eagles invitee Imoh lasted the entire match duration in the 2-3 loss to Gent.

Carl Ikeme (Wolverhampton Wanderers, England)

Ikeme was in action as Wolverhampton Wanderers ended Brentford's 19-game unbeaten run with a three-nil win in League One to leapfrog them and go second in the table.

The big man did well to stop a fine effort by Judge.

Moses Odubajo (Leyton Orients, England)

Home lads Leyton Orient parading Odubajo beat Swindon 2-0 and went on top of League One on Saturday.

The Nigerian blazed well wide as the home side looked the most likely to take an early lead. James then put the hosts ahead from the spot after Jamie Reckord brought down Odubajo in the area.

Joseph Yobo (Norwich, England)

Senior national team captain Yobo was in superb form as Norwich pipped Tottenham Hotspurs one-nil at Carrow Road.

Shola Ameobi, Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle United, England)

Shola wasn't considered for a role, with Newcastle's boss Alan Pardew deciding to keep him on the bench. His brother, Sammy wasn't listed in the 1-0 against Aston Villa.

Chuks Aneke (Crewe, England)

Aneke scored a second half penalty as Crewe climbed out of the relegation zone and dented Port Vale's fading play-off hopes with a thrilling 3-0 win.

Danny Shittu (Millwall, England)

Forgotten Super Eagles defender Shittu played the full 90 minutes, but couldn’t prevent his team from slumping to a 1-0 defeat against Barnsley in the England Championship Division.

Kenneth Omeruo (Middlesbrough, England)

Although Kenneth was excellent at the back, he couldn't inspire his side to get the win they wanted, as the played out a  0-0 draw with Leeds United.

Nedum Onuoha (QPR, England)

Defender Onuoha played the duration of the game, but fell with his team 1-0 away to Charlton Athletic in the Championship.

Jordan Obita, Hope Akpan (Reading, England)

Both Nigerians started the game but were unable to stop Blackburn Rovers from winning one-nil at the Madejski Stadium.

Sone Aluko (Hull City, England)

Aluko was benched for the full duration in the 4-0 win at Cardiff City.

John Obi Mikel (Chelsea, England)

Chelsea needed a John Terry stoppage-time winner as Chelsea beat stubborn Everton to retain their advantage at the top of the Premier League.

Super Eagles key man Mikel wasn't listed by Jose Mourinho. It's a major source of concern for Nigerians as the former Lyn Oslo midfielder is central to Stephen Keshi's World Cup plans.

Peter Odemwingie (Stoke City, England)

Odemwingie did little to stop Stoke City from going down 1-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Stoke, who have now gone 11 league matches without a clean sheet, are just three points above the relegation zone.

Emmanuel Sarki (Wislaw Krakow, Poland)

Dariusz Dudka replaced Sarki in the 68th minute of Wisla Krakow’s 3-1 win against Cracovia Krakow at the Stadion Miejski im. Henryka Reymana.

Ugo Ukah (Jagiellonia Bialystok, Poland)

Ugo was a rock at the back despite his team playing the last thirty minutes of the match with one man less. He lasted the length in the 2-2 draw against visiting Podbeskidzie.

Taye Taiwo (Bursaspor, Turkey) Godfrey Oboabona (Rizespor, Turkey)

Taiwo played all 90 minutes for Bursaspor as his side won 2-0 against Rizespor at the Bursa Ataturk Stadyumu.

However, Oboabona scored an own goal in the second half and was on for the entire match duration.

Nduka Ozokwo (Mersin, Turkey)

Skillful and tricky midfielder Nduka was on song as Mersin won 3-1 at home to Fethiyespor in a Turkey Division One game on Sunday.

Chikeluba Ofoedu (Karsiyaka, Turkey)

Former Enugu Rangers forward Chikeluba returned to scoring ways but his team lost 3-1 to Istanbul Buyuksehir at the Altay Alsancak Stadi.

Raheem Lawal (Eskisehirspor, Turkey)

Lawal aided Eskisehirspor to a 0-0 draw at Antalyaspor as he controlled the midfield.

Michael Olaitan (Olympiakos, Greece)

Olaitan wasn't listed as Olympiakos played a 4-0 win over OFI and extended their lead on the league log to 74 points from 26 matches.

The Nigerian was rested for the Champions League match against Manchester United

Abdul Ajagun (Panathinaikos, Greece) Dele Adeleye (Ergotelis, Greece)

Panathinaikos drew 1-1 against Ergotelis at the Apostolos Nikolaidis Stadium in Athens with Ajagun and Dele on opposing sides.

Ebere Paul Onuachu, Izunna Uzochukwu, Rilwan Hassan and Slyvester Igboun (Midtjylland, Denmark)

OB Odense held on to win 2-1 against Midtjylland in a Denmark Superligaen week 19 match played at the TRE-FOR Park on Saturday.

Izunna and Hassan were handed starters role, while Paul was rooted on the bench throughout the match. Also, Igboun was suspended for the game.

Bartholomew Ogbeche (Cambuur, Netherlands)

Ogbeche was not available in his club’s crucial one-nil victory against the Roda Kerkrade on Saturday.

Kenneth Otigba ,Uche Nwofor (Hereenveen, Netherlands)

Effective defender Kenneth was rooted on the bench as his team drew 0-0 to NAC Breda. His Nigerian compatriot Uche was listed for the encounter.

Efe Ambrose (Celtic Glasgow, Scotland)

Ambrose was excellent at the back for the SPL Kings and was rewarded with a 90-minute role in the 2-0 win at Hearts.

Nnamdi Oduamadi (Varese, Italy)

Super Eagles forward Oduamadi did not score for Varese despite playing 70 minutes against Avellino at the weekend.

Ogenyi Onazi (Lazio, Italy)

Onazi came on in the 90th minute in Lazio's 3-2 win at home to Sassuolo. He replaced Alvaro Gonzalez.

Ramon Azeez (Almeria, Spain)

Ramon played all 90 minutes as Almeria failed to break down Malaga in a 0-0 draw.

Macauley Chrisantus (Las Palmas, Spain)

Macauley's efforts were crucial for Las Palmas as the Spain Segunda outfit moved within promotion slot with a 2-1 win against Girona.

Dele Aiyenugba (Bnei Yehuda, Israel)

Bnei Yehuda manager, Yossi Abukasis has praised the performance of Nigeria international Aiyenugba who kept a clean sheet in a narrow one-nil league win against Hapoel Acre at the Bloomfield Stadium.

The two-time CAF Champions League winner denied Acre a well deserved equaliser with world class saves during the match.

Juwon Oshaniwa, Yero Bello (Ashdod, Israel) Anthony Nwakaeme (Hapoel Ra'anana, Israel)

Anthony scored in the 18th minute and was instrumental in Ra'anana's 2-1 win at Ashdod. Oshaniwa and Bello couldn't inspire the home team to victory.

Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Isreal)

Super Eagles second choice goalkeeper Ejide kept his number one spot in the 2-1 defeat of Bnei Sakhnin. He was hailed for his hardwork.

Chinedu Obasi Ogbuke (Schalke 04, Germany)

Super Eagles forward Obasi continued his return back to full fitness with an eight minutes comeo in the colours of Schalke 04 against Mainz. The game which ended 0-0.

Seyi Olajengbesi (Sandhausen, Germany)

Former Plateau United star Olajengbesi was replaced by Hubner after 46 minutes in Sandhausen’s 2-1 loss to Karlsruher SC at the Jan Wild Park Stadion.

Femi Balogun, Christian Obodo (Olhanense, Portugal) Simmy Nwankwo (Gil Vicente, Portugal)

These are very worrying times for Simmy who wasn't listed in Gil Vicente's 2-1 loss at Olhanense.

Balogun and Obodo started the match for the hosts.

Odion Jude Ighalo (Granada, Spain)

Ighalo continued his rehabilitation from injury and expectedly missed Granada's 2-1 loss at Valencia.

Vincent Enyeama (Lille, Metropole)

The Super Eagles safest pair of hands gave a good of account of himself with an assured performance and made numerous reflex saves in the 0-0 draw against Lyon. He was on for 90 minutes.
