Vincent Enyeama (Lille Metropole, France)
The Lille Metropole goal was under siege for much of the game at home to Lyon. While the entire Lille back four battled admirably, it was Enyeama who provided the commanding presence in his own box and gave his defence great confidence. An excellent performance from the Nigerian international - particularly making reflex saves.
Joseph Yobo (Norwich City, England)
Without doubt Norwich's best player of the last four matches in my opinion and he excelled once again against Tottenham Hotspurs in a fixture the Canaries could not afford to lose. Yobo's presence at the back could probably save Norwich. I think it's time Nigerians wake up to the fact that Yobo is back to his best.
Fred Evans (TEAP FC, Nigeria)
My only pick from the second cadre division. The attacking right-back was a nightmare to Mighty Jets with his forays upfront. If he continues such shows, Nigeria Premier League sides could sign him.
James Okwuosa (Chippa United, South Africa)
It was another top-class performance from the Nigerian international against a rugged Roses United who had decided that the best way to hurt Chippa United was by adopting a physical approach.
James provided grit and stability at the back as Chippa saw off the Roses.
Taye Taiwo (Bursaspor, Turkey)
Taye proved over the weekend that he is still relevant to Super Eagles' World Cup programmes with a good performance. He gave his best in the win against Rizespor.
Chuks Aneke (Crewe, England)
It was Aneke's drive and ingenuity that opened the Port Vale defence. Without doubt Crewe's player of the season in my opinion.
Felix Ogbuke (Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Vietnam) Felix was outstanding with his purposeful runs down the left flank against Quang Ninh. He was a top drawer.
Nduka Ozokwo (Mersin, Turkey)
The skillful and tricky midfielder was on song as Mersin won 3-1 at home to Fethiyespor in a Turkey Division One game on Sunday. He has an outside chance of being invited by Super Eagles' technical crew for the World Cup.
Chikeluba Ofoedu (Karsiyaka, Turkey)
The former Enugu Rangers and UNTH attacker has been unlucky in front of goal in recent times despite his high work rate. The strike against Istanbul Buyuksehir showed the 21-year-old is back to his predatory best.
Aminu Umar (Samsunspor, Turkey)
The vastly improved youngster is a man
for the big occasion if given the chance to shine. He is the future of Nigerian Football.
Victor Anichebe (West Brom, England)
The powerful man was once again crucial as he set up Matej Vydra's 86th minute equaliser as West Brom shared the spoils in a one-all draw. He earned his place based on his recent form.
George Akpabio (Chippa United, South Africa)
What a perfect time in the season for the former JUTH forward to find his form. Three goals in two massive games, have kept Chippa's dreams of ABSA Premiership promotion alive.
