Lobi Stars Win State Cup Final In Ruthless Manner

Farouk Mohammed scored two goals as Lobi Stars hammered Mighty Junior FC 5-1 to win the Benue State FA Cup title on Sunday at the Aper Aku Stadium.


Mohammed, Emma Ajia and John Paul all grabbed one goal each as the first stanza ended 3-0 in favour of the Pride of Benue.

The minnows pulled one back through Peter Eneji, before Mohammed and Samson Gbadebo completed the rout for the Nigeria Professional Football League side.
