Nkwocha Reveals Best Career Moment

Super Falcons' veteran striker Perpetual Nkwocha has revealed that scoring her first and only goal at FIFA Women's World Cup remains the best moment of her career spanning over 15 years.

Nkwocha who has featured in three consecutive World Cup finals said that she felt on top of the world when her first and only goal at the World Cup gave the Super Falcons their only win against Canada at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany.

"That day will remain ever  green in my memory and I must confess that scoring that goal has been the best moment of a career that has made me the most decorated African woman footballer ever," stated the four times African Woman Player of the Year.

She said that her target at the World Cup in Canada will be to help the Super Falcons to do well by going far in the championship adding she has a lot to contribute to the team both on and outside the pitch with her wealth of experience.

"I want to quit football in a blaze of glory and there can't be a better way than to ensure that Super Falcons qualify from the group stage and possibly go all the way to maybe the semi finals or final of the World Cup. We have reached the last eight before, so we need to make names for ourselves in Canada by doing better," stated the 39 year old.

Nkwocha who is pushing for her coaching licence is a coach/player with her club in Sweden concluded with an assurance that Nigeria will qualify from the group that has USA, Australia and Sweden.
