Abdullahi, Adegbenro Tastes Defeat On Competitive Debut

Samuel Adegbenro and Suleiman Abdullahi suffered defeat in their first competitive outing for Viking in the opening match day of the Norwegian Eliteserien against Mjondalen on Monday.


Adegbenro was on from the start in the game Viking eventually lost by a lone goal, while Abdullahi was introduced in the second half but he couldn't make any impact at the Isachsen stadion.

The duo signed a four-year deal at the beginning of the year.

Abdullahi joined from Gee-Lec Academy Jos after he played last season on loan at El Kanemi Warriors.

Adegbenro, a former Kwara United forward had a three-week trial before he was snapped up by the club.
