Nigeria international Uche Nwofor was on the score sheet for Lierse who
dismissed AZ Alkmaar three-nil in an international friendly match on
Friday.
The former VVV Venlo striker, who joined the De Pallieters in the summer transfer window netted in the first half of match action.
The ex-Enugu Rangers forward mutually terminated his deal with Venlo in order to complete the move to Belgium as a free player.
He has netted just one goal in eight appearances for Lierse, a return considered by many as a poor one for a player of his calibre.
Ramy Bensebaini and Wamberto were also on target for the Belgium side in the close-doors friendly.
The friendly was organised to give the De Pallieters’ players much-needed match practice ahead of their return to competitive action at Anderlecht on 18th January.
