Late Kayode Goal Hands Ha Noi Narrow Win

Nigeria striker Samson Kayode opened his goal diary in the week two of the Toyota Vietnam League as TT Ha Noi edged Than Quang Ninh with a hard fought 1-0 win at the Cua Ong Stadium on Saturday.

The highly rated Ha Noi played a 1-1 draw against Long An on match day 1.

A win was vital for them and they got it thanks to their Nigerian import.

Ha Noi had several half chances throughout the match but failed to capitalise with some heroic goalkeeping from Huỳnh Tuấn Linh denying them.

With the match looking like ending in a goalless draw, Kayode stole the show with the winner nine minutes from time.

Kayode emerged as the top scorer of the 2014 V-League season with 24 goals.
