Haruna Wants More Football

Former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles skipper Lukman Haruna is disappointed with his lack of first team opportunities for Dynamo Kiev since the second round of the season began three weeks ago.

Taking into consideration the Cup tie against Metalist, the central midfielder has averaged 6 minutes in the four games played by the Kievites.

But the Nigeria international has vowed that he will continue working hard in training in order to find favour with manager Oleg Blokhin.

''I was a little painful to realize that I do not go into the starting line-up in recent games. I understand that this is football and it's a matter of competition.”

''At the same time I cannot change it, but rather work with renewed vigour to get another chance with the coach,'' Haruna told dynamomania.com.

The 23-year-old has made 8 starts for Dynamo Kiev in the Premier League, netting in games against Metalurh Donetsk, Vorskla and Sevastopol.

His contract with the 13-time champions of Ukraine expires at the end of next season.
