Akure Gunners holds Flying Antelopes

The defenders were the heroes as Sunshine Stars took a well deserved point from a trip to Enugu, in a week 5 Globacom Nigeria Premier League match against Enugu Rangers on Sunday evening.
The match was more of a war, as the battle for possession in the midfield was fierce and interesting. The strikers hardly had service as the defenders and goalkeepers were on top of their game.
Ikechukwu Ezenwa made a couple of fine saves to keep out Rangers while, Ebenezer Odunlami made a goal-line clearance to deny the hosts.
A battling first half saw little in the way of genuine chances for either side.
Despite a late siege by Rangers to Sunshine's goal area, the Stars cleared their lines well to keep-off the Flying Antelopes. They did well to keep Super Eagles winger Ejike Uzoenyi at bay in the game.
The draw will further mount pressure on John Obuh, who has been given a three-match ultimatum to perform or face the executioner's sledge hammer.
