Macauley The Highest Paid Player At AEK

Lanky striker Macauley Chrisantus did not agree to a pay cut before finalizing his transfer to AEK Athens.

And it has been suggested that the former Flying Eagles forward will pocket around 400,000 euros at the Greece powerhouse.

The ex-Las Palmas star was to earn 400,000 Euros per season at Turkish club, Sivasspor.

Much is expected from Chrisantus, as he is now the highest paid player at the Yellow - Blacks, ahead of Portuguese midfielder Hélder Barbosa, who takes home €250,000 every year.

The FC Abuja product has signed a three-and- a-half year deal with AEK..
