Moses Simon is proving to be a shrewd bargain for Belgium side Gent, as he scored their first goal in their 2-1 win over league leaders Club Brugge.
Simon chested down a through ball from Daniel Milicevic and without breaking his stride lashed the ball home in the 23rd minutes for his sixth goal in seven games since joining Gent in January.
Gent went into the break leading Brugge thanks to Moses' goal but Ruud Vormer levelled things up for the visitors 16 minutes after resumption for the second half.
The Ghelamco arena was stunned into silence by that equaliser but they found their voices in the 72nd minute, when once again Moses played a big role in forcing Timmy Simons into an own goal.
Gent moved up to third with the victory, while Club Brugge missed a great chance to extend their lead at the top, although they are still guaranteed to stay top regardless of other results.
