This follows the former secretary insistence that the electoral committee led by Barrister Emmanuel Olu-Alade that they must make use of 2010 statutes of the Nigeria football federation as approved by the congress of the NFF.
The elections are billed for today 19th February at the conference room of the MKO Abiola international stadium in Abeokuta.
Speaking at a press conference in Abeokuta, the executive secretary, Association of professional footballers of Nigeria, Austin Popo vowed to take the matter seriously.
He bemoaned the attitude of the electoral committee handling the Ogun State election for disqualifying his members.
Popo confirmed that the players union had written petitions to the Nigeria football federation on their stand but promised to take it to the world body FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for sports in Switzerland

Two chairmanship candidates, Taju Disu and Tunji Fagbenro, while briefing sports journalists at the Iwe Irohin Press Center, faulted the composition of the electoral committee and called on the Nigeria Football federation to disregard the exercise, describing it as sham, retrogressive, daylight robbery and unconstitutional.
Meanwhile, the electoral committee has vowed to carry out their assignment as scheduled and that the elections will hold today at the MKO Abiola stadium,
Speaking on a radio interview in Abeokuta, the chairman of the committee, Barrister Olu Alade said all arrangement for a hitchfree exercise has been concluded.
Ever since the commencement of the electoral process on the 19th of January 2015, the stakeholders have been complaining over the entire process
