Enyimba Int'l have arrived the capital city of Benin Republic, Cotonou ahead of Sunday's Champions League fixture against Buffles du Borgu.
The two-time CAF Champions League winners, have been in a closed camping in Ota, Ogun state which is just two hours drive to
Cotonou.
An advanced team led by the club chairman and board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Felix Anyansi on Friday ensured logistic was perfect, for the players and officials to be lodged at a comfortable hotel.
The advanced team fumed over poor level of logistic and accomodation their host offered them.
"We
are not satisfied with the reception
of our hosts, we treated them like Kings when they visited Nigeria. We
invested a lot of money making them comfortable, it is sad this is what
we got from them," Anyansi fumed.
"We
are more experienced and such act is not enough to distract us, though
we expect all teams in this competition to be professional, the rules
are clear and it is important all teams respects the rules.
"We
saw this coming, reason why the management decided to send an advanced
team to make sure accomodation and other logistics are perfect before
the full contigent arrive. Despite their antics, we are optimistic of
reaching the next round." He said.
The other contigents consisting of players and the technical crew later arrived Cotonou 7pm local time, after the advanced team had solved the logistic problems.
The
team is lodged at Hotel GL, located at Akpakpa about twenty (20)
minutes drive to the stadium. The players will train and have a feel of
the pitch on Saturday morning.
Stade de L'amitié Cotonou will host the game on Sunday at 4pm local, same time with Nigeria.
Enyimba won the first leg 3-0 in Aba.
