Tantalising Matches Awaits Fans Of NPFL

Fixtures for the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football league season has been released by the League Management Company (LMC). 

In the draws made yesterday, Champions Kano Pillars will begin the defence of their title with a tricky tie away to Heartland FC in Owerri.

In Bauchi, it will be a battle for supremacy as two newly promoted sides, Wikki Tourists and Shooting Stars clash. 

Giwa FC will entertain Abia Warriors at home, while Sharks FC play host to Sunshine Stars of Akure in Port-Harcourt.

Elsewhere, Dolphins will look forward to cash in on newly promoted Kwara United. 

 El-kanemi battle Nassarawa United of Lafia, while Bayelsa United will stay at home to welcome Lobi Stars of Markurdi.

In other fixtures, new boys, Ifeanyi Uba FC host Warri Wolves, while FC Taraba will engage Rangers of Enugu in Jalingo.

The peak of the fixtures will see Enyimba FC ambush Akwa united in Aba. Akwa United recently lost play-maker Ezekiel Bassey to the peoples' Elephant. The pacy winger is expected to face his former side in what is billed as a derby without limit. The Uyo side recently secured the services of former Enyimba handler, Zarachy Baraje.

The first round of matches will hold on March 7, 2015.
