Juvenile Boss Wins Ekiti FA election



The President Juvenile Football Club, Alabi Ayodeji Desmond, has emerged the winner of the Ekiti State Football Association chairmanship election held on Sunday February 22, 2015.


Alabi, a football philanthropist, garnered 16 votes from 19 valid votes, while the former Ekiti FA boss, Isaac Ayodele, polled 3 votes.

The election was supervised by NFF Executive Committee Member and Chairman NFF Finance Committee, Otunba Sunday Dele Ajayi, at the Health Bank Conference Hall, Ministry of Health, Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti.

Ayo Alabi, will run the affairs of Ekiti FA for the next four years.

The soft-spoken new chairman, in his inaugural speech, said his emergence is a new dawn to Ekiti Football and promised to work assiduously with his other board members to transform football in Ekiti State most especially from the grassroots level.

The composition of the new Ekiti State FA executive board is now: Alabi Ayodeji Desmond (Chairman), Ariyo Amos Yomi (Vice-Chairman), Bayo Lanlege (Member), Princess Olayinka Adefemi Ruth (Member) Prince Ebenezer Oladipo (Member), Ibidun Babatope (Member), Fatukasi Joseph (Member), Ajibewa John (Member) and Aregbesola Olumuyi (Member).
