Edward Ofere has expressed his happiness at the opportunity to join Scottish Premier League club Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The Caley Jags confirmed on Friday evening that an agreement has been reached with the Nigeria international until the end of the 2014 - 2015 campaign, subject to international clearance.
''I have signed a deal with Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of the season,'' Edward Ofere said to SL10.ng.
''I chose to join Inverness CT because it's a fantastic club. They have been in the top three and that shows you the quality of this club.
''I have great teammates here. I will play with jersey number seven. ''
After spending five years at Malmo, Edward Ofere left for Lecce in 2010, but he departed the club two years later after they were demoted.
The 28 - year - old then returned to Sweden for a brief spell with Trelleborgs FF, before moving to FC Vestsjælland, Denmark.
The Swedish - Nigerian penned a short - term deal with Sogndal last August.
